District of Columbia Department of Housing and Community Development
The collection consists of 393 color and black and white photographs of DC Housing and Community Development construction projects throughout the District. Most images are of street or infrastructure projects. Of note are images of L’Enfant Plaza, playgrounds, and recreation center projects. The collection is arranged by the Department of Housing and Community Development project number.
First Capital Realty Photograph Collection
Hambright and Hoachlander Photograph Collection
The collection consists of 30 4x5 inch black and white photographs each with a corresponding negative. In 1987 photographers Anice Hoachlander and Harlan Hambright shot these images to document buildings on the 500 block of 9th Street NW and the 900 block of E Street NW in northwest Washington, D.C. These buildings were torn down to make way for a larger office building.

The collection consists of black and white photographs of Washington, D.C. buildings, streets, and monuments taken by Theodor Horydczak. Photographs have been arranged by subject and are listed in alphabetical order.

Taulman Slide Collection
Collection consists of 366 35mm slides taken by photographers James Taulman (318 images), Jan Faul (29 images), and Robert Burgess (19 images) of buildings throughout the city. Tauman's images were taken as part of a project funded by Trammell Crow Company in Dalas Texas in 1980 to document recent commercial architecture across the country. Only the images documenting the District are included in this collection. The collection was assembled by the Library following its acquisition.
